Before pursuing photography full time, Michael served with the New York City Police Department and the U.S. Army Reserves. Those years shaped his appreciation for discipline, teamwork, accountability, and integrity — values that continue to guide his work on and off the field.

Michael is a proud member of the Walden Rotary Club, volunteers with the Orange County Senior Dining Program (Meals on Wheels), and regularly donates his time and photography to local causes and events, including the Special Olympics and organizations such as Heroes, Cowboys & Companions, which support veterans, first responders, and their families.

When not covering games or community events, he enjoys photographing wildlife — a personal pursuit that encourages patience, perspective, and an appreciation for quiet moments.
